Arise
I’ve been to a few funerals recently, including those of a couple of close family members. No matter how I’m feeling, there’s always this irrational urge to say or do something silly, and then I find myself having to suppress giggles.
Does that make me a TERRIBLE HUMAN BEING? Probably.
How to behave at a funeral. Panel 1: GOOD Matt: "I'm so sorry for your loss." Panel 2: BAD. Matt is standing beside a coffin, with a grieving family-member behind him. He looks around. Matt: "Did you hear something?" Panel 3: REALLY, REALLY BAD. Matt is standing in front of the coffin with his arms in the air. Matt: "ARISE!" Tooltip: Those people could NOT take a joke.
